"God has created man to govern the world, and until the time of His visitation, has presented to man two spirits in which to walk."
--The Dead Sea Scrolls

Yes, and no. Everyone, when concieved, had good in them. As their awareness and knowledge expanded, a choice that would determine the fate of their future and perhaps even the world is gradually presented to them; to follow the path of good or evil. The duration of time for which some have walked the darkest paths have sapped the last few fragments of goodness out of them, leaving only a cold, empty darkness that knows no kindness. Everyone has a choice to be good or evil; we just have to want to make the decision ourselves in order to reveal the truth in ourselves and to save ourselves. The two spirits mentioned in the Instruction on the Two Spirits in the Dead Sea Scrolls are solely symbolic of this. The path of darkness, and the path of light, two spirits that man can follow. Unfortunately for us and the world, most choose to follow the unclean spirit; no matter how trivial and harmless it may appear, the dark paths are still paths of darkness, and lead never to a good outcome. Remember this well, for this is the key to humanity's way of life.

Yes to a certain degree....depends on what they personally hold close to them that has value or sentiment! Some killers or other hardened criminals might be animal lovers or even nature activists but still have no scruples to stab you repeatedly and rape your own mother in front of you before they kill her? I tall matters on what you & they think is good?? Bad people are just BAD!!!! No if ands or buts!!!

It depends on the point of view, I guess... Mass murderers may have no love for people, but might have love for mother? But if the mother loves that he kills people, then is his love for mother good? I don't know. And lot's of people thought/think Hitler was good, even though more people think he was bad. And then there could be people who are just all bad, only love for self, and they might be sad that they're crazy, and do evil things, and want to do good, but maybe doing good makes them feel sick, so they don't.. Is it good that they want to do good but can't? I don't know... Good and bad is not black and white, so I can't answer the question with a definite answer

To put it more accurately, everyone has justifications for his/her actions that may be classified as "good intention". No one thinks that he/she is pure evil. "Good" in this case is subjective. i.e what may seem a good cause for someone may be an evil cause for another. A man steeling from the rich and giving to the poor can either be thought of as a thief or a hero, this does not change the fact that his actions are totally justifiable to himself and people who believe that he has "good intentions".

In short, the real fact is "No one is GOOD for everybody"

Yes, some just have very little redeeming qualities but still there is some inherent goodness in every one of us.

sure they do. There's always a struggle with good and evil. Your parents teach you right from wrong and send you into the world. Its up to you to chose to do good.

If you can't find it, either it's well hidden, or it has been distorted and vanquished by greed and other human emotions.
