I am being offered a position with a non-profit company for $35k annually. It is (on average) a 25-30 minute morning commute, plus 10 minutes to drop the baby off. Coming home, it will take me about an hour to 70 minutes to pick up both kids and get home. Should I accept it, or wait and see if something closer to home shows up--even if it is for less money? I would like to stay closer to home, but that's pretty decent $$....

Search for job closer to home enough to sustain the family's budget. Also search within for talents you have that can earn yourself a little income apart from your wage.
