Different people have different abilities, that's all. Everyone has subjects and activities that they excel in, and some that they just can't get the hang of. One of the many nature's of the brain.

Because you think more in your left brain than your right. But you knew that already if you're good at science. You're probably good at number equations, too. I stink at number equations, but if you can put a math problem, almost ANY math problem into words, I can solve it in my head most of the time.
I agree about the reading science fiction, but think you would probably enjoy Robert Heinlein more than those other guys.

Hey, it's exactly the same with me--It's just that science is very black-and-white, while in English we have to do those annoying "analyze readings that don't have meanings" (you have to do those too right?) you just see the clear picture not the deeper most of the time nonexistent hidden meaning. (Well, this is just my theory. Could be something else ^^) Edit--To the one who says "you don't read for fun" I do that all the time. I just can't find the hidden meanings. I read what it says, and that's the meaning to me.

You don't read for pleasure. Compromise: read science fiction novels. May I recommend Ringworld by Niven, Aristoi by Williams, and Red Mars by Gilbertson?

Because you like science and don't like English. Perhaps the teacher could make it more interesting, or you could find parts of it you like.

I'm the same way. It has to do with the left side of the brain being the stronger side.
