it is a medium sized lump, and i have large breasts i am afraid that it is cancer, because my family has had cancer. Can i get an xray or is it not safe since i am preg.

run, don't walk to the phone to get an appointment with the doc NOW to have this checked out.
they will tell you how to proceed, and of course they will keep your pregnancy in mind when examining you.

It could be just a cyst ... I have had cyst that seem like they come and go (which is common) An x-ray is not ok when youre preg cuz you'll be exposing the baby to radiation. Tell your doc about the lump.

Talk to your doctor, your breasts go through alot of changes during pregnancy...including lumpyness as things grow and swell and change. It may be nothing...but most likely they would do a biopsy before they did an xray. Talk to your doctor.

That is something you need to talk to your doctor about. Most of the time when you have a appointment and they take your measurements, they check each breast, or should. Just ask your doctor to check.

when you see your doctor and tell him your pregnant he'll decide whether its safe or not to have an xray.
