******************read this************************ ******Don't worry they follow me too. Specially at Dillard's. You know they got sued for following some Black Women at their store and the women won. When I have time I go with my daughter, I go to where the most expensive dresses and clothes are ask the lady to help me and I tried on a couple and then I say, Iam sorry this is not quite the quality I was looking for, with my credit card on hand. Then all of the sudden they are looking around for something for me and I say no.....nothing for me here.
I even went to a store at the mall and this chick had the nerve to tell me that their sweaters were not in my price range, I look at her and made her take the sweaters that were on top take them down, and then leave. It is better not to argue with this people because you know who is going to loose. Just make them look like the idiots they are. The nerve of some people???

Yes, they are following you because you are Black. White people are very racist. Part of the problem is they are very paranoid. Because their ancestors did a lot of bad things to ours, they are just feeling the guilt and shame from it centuries later. When you do bad things to other people you have to constantly watch your back and fear they will do something in retaliation. They think you are going to steal from them because they stole all of our resources and left our people stricken with poverty in the motherland and in other parts of the world where the African diaspora is present. My advise is to just ignore them. We shall get reparations one day. But until that day, they will continue to stalk us.

Just like another comment....blame your brothers(fellow race members) who have blemished the record for stealing anything not screwed down! Its not just because your black...but how you are conducting yourself along with your mannerism. By the way its not just the blacks but any person who looks the role of repeated offenders...hispanic,white, etc....

Maybe or you might look young. I'm caucasian, but I look very young so I'm always followed around in department stores. I always just smile very nicely and ignore them.

Ask them.
Maybe you're just imagining it.

How are you dressed? It could be because you are wearing baggy clothes or a hooded jacket.

If you are a young male too you are more likely to be watched.

Just don't care. If they discriminated against the color of your skin, that would lower their dignity, not yours.
