Yes, like doggiebike said, the capacties before were 30 and 60 gigs and now they are 30 and 80. And, yes, the screen is 60% brighter and the batter lasts 75% longer. However, the new iPod Video is not the 6G. It's simply an update on 5G. Think of it as 5.1.

5G Video was 30 and 60 giga byte. The 6g are 80 and 30 gigabyte. The new i-Pods have longer battery life and cost less.

depends, they now make ipods up to 5gb and (30gb in japan only)
but the older ipods had 1-2gbs now ipods have 1-5 with colors screen and video/recording capabilities
