Is it possible to train a basilisk? My friend was wondering that since it can run on water if u could teach it 2 stand on 2 legs?

It would be hard to train them to stand on two legs because of their length and the damage possible to their spine. Besides, they have those flaps of skin between their toes to help them "run on water". They eventually sink. Besides they only do it when they are scared. No such incentives like that for them to stand on two legs.

If he was tame enough, you could use a pencil for his front legs to grasp and position his tail to help him balance on the hind legs. I don't think he would want to walk that way though. Have a friend tempt him with an insect while you help him stay in this position, it might be incentive enough. Who knows.

no. I used to have a Basilisk and you you can't train a lizard to do anything! They are not dogs!

They only go on 2 legs when running REALLY fast, and you may not want to see this really, as you might never catch it again.

no but i had one and it already deos that sometimes by its self
