the majority of Iraq's government is the same religion as Iran, but Saddam ruled from the minority with an Iron fist and he didn't like Iran because it was the other form of islam..
so the new government is probably going to be friendly to them... and we can't stay there forever...
that's what happens when a democracy occurs in an area where most people are of the same religion as iran...
Interested: are the terrorists coming from iran, afghanistan or are they insurgents... it seems like every republican has a different answer? and why would they send terrorists when the U.S. would leave a pro-Iranian government in power by its self sooner if they didn't attack? it would be counter productive?

I see this as a back door way to open diplomacy with Iran after years of silence. I would imagine the Administration is not only ok with it but its probably their idea.

pretty cool way for the president of Iraq to take the heat off himself...and it also means iran will have to stop sending iranians to kill americans in iraq....we'll see.
