My parents have a "Grandparents Wall" in their living room. Each of the grandchildren have an 8x10 picture up. To let them know that I was pregnant, I gave them a picture frame with a note in it that said "to be replaced by actual photo during or after April 2007. I'm interested in hearing some stories of how other people told their family and friends.

My husband and I sent my mom an e-mail with a photo of the positive pregnancy test stick. She waited a long time for me to get pregnant and thought it would be a fun idea. When I did not hear from her that morning I called and believe it or not she had trouble opening the photo, so I helped her open the photo and she just about screamed with excitement. I think she called everyone else in the family and told them. I like your idea, that was really cute.

Well lets see....I told my husbad\nd the day of his b-day, cuz that the day i found out that i was pg and well what i did i bought a bag and put in the paper that showed that i am pg and when he opend it he said that was the best gift ever since we had been tryin to have a baby for a few months already, after i told him i called my mom and told her was she ready to be a grandma and she got al happy and well like "ur pg" and i told yeah that i was about a month already.

Well first congrats!!!!!!!!! I guess we'll be giving birth around the same time. I told my friends and family after I found out I was definitey preggers and I'm so excited I hope you are too.

We conceived in Ireland on vacation. When we got back and found out it was about a month later. So we started telling people that we had one more souvenir to tell them about. My dad smacked me on the back and said "Good job son!!"

Last Christmas, our cousin wrapped her ultrasound picture up for her parents to open. We have a big family and she saved her "little" present as last. No one in the family knew so it was a "big" surprise for us all!
I love what you did though, that's really nice!

LOL... I asked my girlfriend if she could take me to the doctor... she agreed.. and when she realized what dr we were at, she then guessed why we were there.. lol... It was funny.. Other than that.. I had just said I'm pregnant.. due.. etc..

I couldnt wait to do something special, I just called EVERYONE as soon as I found out, next time maybe I will be able to do something more special... lol I couldnt even wait to tell them we were trying..

I just said "Well you know how I was wondering why my period was late ... I just came back from the doctors ... and I'm pregnant" It was followed by cheers and hugs!
