Half the whole time - she was making a lot of headlines with the crazy life she lived and all the degrading rumors and tabloids surrounding her. How could I possibly feel sorry for a mother who couldn't care less about the people who cared most for her back home and she's NEVER even once visited them since her fame skyrocketed? And now with the issue of her late son, I never even once heard about her motherly relationship with him. Was it a healthy and nurturing one?
I sure hope that her son's death will definitely clean up her act if nothing else in her life ever did. I definitely think this story proves to be a good moral not just for moms, but to all parents raising kids.
I couldn't possibly feel sorry for her if at all!

An autopsy was performed Monday. On Tuesday, Her Majesty's Coroner Linda P. Virgill said that based on preliminary findings, "the cause of death is not natural." But, she said, "we wish to reserve [announcing] the cause of death at this time," adding that a toxicology results and a full autopsy report will be released by the end of the week.
Virgill said an inquest will take place afterward and her staff will interview all "relevant witnesses," including Anna Nicole Smith, hospital workers and flight attendants, to develop an official timeline.
The coroner's statements came in the wake of a story in the Nassau Guardian that Daniel Smith suffered a "massive heart attack" and that antidepressants had been found in his system. The hospital's CEO, Barry Rassin, strongly denied the negligence allegations in an interview with Radar, saying that the hospital is pursuing legal action against the Nassau Guardian, which reported the anonymously sourced story on Tuesday. "Standard procedure was followed at all times," says Rassin.
According to the paper, Daniel was vomiting uncontrollably before he collapsed and died, sending his mother into a "violent rage" as she wrestled with hospital workers to get closer to her son. "All we know right now is that he was on anti-depressants," the source says. "Some things indicate that he probably overdosed on those drugs."
By the time it was all over, the room "was a total mess" splattered with blood and vomit, and Smith's son, who she gave birth to at age 18, was dead.

I just heard a few minutes ago that there were drugs involved and now they suspect foul play. That apparently there was a third person in the room that wasn't previously disclosed. So, if that's the case, they may not release any further info until after an investigation.

The new said heart attack and that he was also on meds for asthmatic.It is sad because his mother had just given birth at that same hospital a few days before the incident. A life enter the world and another one leaves.

They haven't released the cause as of yet. The autopsy is not being released to the public and the final report will not be released until the end of October. You will have to wait for the real answer.

I heard that it was ruled as "suspicious", because there was someone else in the room. No drugs or heart attack though.

Haven't heard the cause of death yet. I heard he had health problems thru his whole life.
