No, but because the name doesn't have 'state' in the title that everyone calls it, a lot of people think it is (some potential employers perhaps). After I graduated from purdue (best time ever) a lot of people that found out I went there thought it was Ivy league, so I just let them keep thinking that.

no, but it has a great engineering program and probably the best aerospace program in the country.
