No never match the same eye shadow with what you wearing because it wont make your eyes stay but u can put some of the same color go to the Mac they will tell you everything you need to know. Your eye shadow should match Ur face though. Like if your wearing red don't put red eyeshadow put white with black> or if you have a shirt that colorful but they color that doest appear the most. And use in side crayon for the eye ( eyeliner) its makes your eyes looks big and stand out

No not at all. I was watching what not to wear and they said don't wear the same color eyeshadow as what you are wearing try an eyeshadow that will make your eyes pop! Like if you have brown eyes pretty much any color (blues, greens, purples) will work. Find out which color will look best with your eyes and make them be the first thing someone notices.

Absolutely not.
I choose eyeshadows that compliment my complexion and bring out my eyes. So instead of spending a lot of money on every different shade of eyeshadow possible, I buy high-quality eyeshadow (MAC Cosmetics) in the colors that look good on me always. Example: I have a vanilla color for highlighting my lower lids and browbone, a rich berry/brown color for the crease, and a flesh-toned color to blend the two others seamlessly.
Google "what eyemakeup colors flatter my face." or similar for more pointers.
Good luck!

Absolutely not! Your eyeshadow should compliment your eyes, your skin color, the venue and the time of day or night. How intense you apply it will have a lot to do with your age as well. You are not going to be viewed in black and white.
For example, blue or bright green eyeshadow looks ridiculous on dark skin people.

no not really. natural shades are great. so is white. if ur skin tone is on the darker side of beige and up then gold is also a good color. but it is advisable that you kinda stay in the same range of color or go with a complementery color to your clothing. but most importantly it is best to bring out the color of your eyes and never lay your eye shadow on thick its also supposed to look a little natural. one way you can test colors out is go to maybeleen new yourk's web sight they have a spot where you can try out some of their makeup. you can either use one of their models or download your own pick and go from there. also a tip for shading your eyebrows is dont use a pencil (looks to starn) either use an eyebrow brush ( says it on the package usualy angled ( not the comb) ) or if you had a boo boo in waxing or plucking and ur drawing on ur brows use a maskera wand (it looks more natural)

Does it have to match? No. A neutral (think taupe or pale pink) shadow is perfectly acceptable with nearly any outfit. But matching shadow can really pull an outfit together. Just don't overdo it. Subtle is good.

No, that would be tacky. Choose your eyeshadow to flatter the color of your eyes.
