Does anyone know where the show is actually being filmed? I doubt that it is in Alaska. Where is that town for real?

It's actual filming is in a small town North of Vancouver B.C.
And yes, it does seem similar to Northern Exposure.
The first show was cute, but I have a feeling that it will grow old quickly. I'm not particulary fond of Anne Heche as the lead role and I sense that the script will start being all over the place. It also doesn't give Alaska justice. But for now, I'll give it a look see on Friday.

I've never watched Northern Exposure, but it's suppose to be kind of like a mix between Northern Exposure and Sex in the City.
It was decent. If I don't find a better show for Tuesday nights, I will be watching it.

I was put-off when she sprayed herself with bear-repellant and didn't react appropriately at all. That should have reduced her to a puddle of snot.
