No, coughing won't hurt the baby. Your body is suprizing well addapted to protect the little guy from the outside world. Including you.
However do take care about getting well from your bronchitits. Any type of infection is bad for you and the baby when you are pregnant.

I once suffered from Chronic Bronchitis. I would suffer sometimes 3 to 4 times per year! Usually when there was a major change in the pressure outside (I live in the north, and the temperature spikes and dips do wonders to chronic sufferers of bronchitis!). Each time I would get horrible hacking coughs, hoarking up green phlegm..it was so frustrating!
The key to getting rid of your bronchitis is to find a way to completely eliminate the germs that are causing all the phlegm and irritation leading to your hoarking cough and heavy breathing. Keep reading to learn how to do kill these germs!!
This page it will change your life and make you feel 100% better within just 24 hours!

I think you will find that your baby resides in a place and or palace called the uterus... when you cough the action involves lung/throat /ribs and upper respitory systems I th ink you'll be just fine and so will the baby ... worry and stress probably affect the baby more! Stay serene!

Aside from maybe waking him up if he's napping...then no.
It's like this...If you were floating in a swimming pool...and there was an earth quake...you wouldn't feel it.
