close to you by maxi priest- was only a midget in high school then, this song was playing on a coach trip and everytime it played and still plays- i think of the boy i was so wrapped up about. I don't even think he'd be a lovely person today but i worshipped the ground he walked on then!

I also used to have Rendezvous playing on loop in my car a few years back when i came back from my hols. I asked a guy out but did it really weird and i was running late for my flight. So i told him not to give me an answer until i was back. When i got back, i couldn't find him where he worked- he worked in a supermarket then, and i drove around for ages. I ended up in the same place after hours and all along Rendezvous was playing on loop mode- when i finally managed to see him- he was delighted to see me- he said yes and he thought i was beautiful and brave. That was the best day of my life. I had the song playing all the way back home and to this day- when it comes on anywhere, i feel like i felt that day, releif, really happy, beautful and brave all at once!

Never Let Her Slip Away by Andrew Gold. I was in love with the most beautiful girl in the world when this was in the charts. Sadly she did slip away from me and i have regretted it every day since but this song brings back all the wonderful memories of the magical time we had together. Even to this day I still feel like I'm in love with her. Crazy isn't it?

Lady In Red - Chris De Burgh

I've never seen you looking so lovely as you did tonight
I've never seen you shine so bright
I've never seen so many men ask you if you wanted to dance
They're looking for a little romance, given half a chance
I have never seen that dress you're wearing
Or the highlights in your head that catch your eyes I have been blind
The lady in red is dancing with me cheek to cheek
There's nobody here, it's just you and me, It's where I wanna be
But I hardly know this beauty by my side
I'll never for get, the way you look tonight

I've never seen you looking so gorgeous as you did tonight
I've never seen you shine so bright you were amazing
I've never seen so many people want to be there by your side
And when you turned to me and smiled, It took my breath away
I have never had such a feeling
Such a feeling of complete and utter love, as I do tonight

The way you look tonight
I never will forget, the way you look tonight
The lady in red
The lady in red
The lady in red
My lady in red (I love you.)

'Hanging By A Moment' by Lifehouse, one day my friends and I were goofing off and listening to music and that song came on and we just stood up and belted it out and danced... in the middle of study hall.

'Closing Time' by Semisonic. My mom and I had just gotten into a pretty big fight, and we were driving home, and the song came on over the radio. We both started to sing along and by the time we got home we had made up.

'I Like To Move It Move It' by (?). After a marching band rehearsal, my sister and I were listening to this mix CD she had made, and this came on, and we began to dance to it in the car. We had so much fun. She had just returned from a year of foreign exchange, and I had really missed her, and we reconnected.
