dont be so concerned about what people think about you. i wear brown and black together but its your confidence that makes the outfit look awesome! so dont worry go out there and make a statement. you'll feel awesome

No, it is fine to wear black and brown together now. I used to think it was a no no as well but we've moved past that rule. Black and brown it up girl!!!

It is not a fashion no no. Fashion is not about rules. Black goes with just about every colour. Black/brown is a rich sophisticated colour combination.

No... I've heard that before, but I have never seen anyone decide not to mix the two colors. Some things won't go, but I think dark colors will almost always go with black.

absolutely not. i have seen a Ginny H dress and a Vera Wang dress both use black and brown, it must be a very chic outfit, and its all about the accessories. you cant do a cheap, boring outfit cause then it will look a mess.

It can be done, but it's awfully dull and drab. Try black and tan or khaki instead.
