the ohio &allegany river is well stocked with bass,stripped,small mouth,large mouth,white..walleye,sauger,channel cats,flathead cats. most dams have public fishing areas. Moraine state park has a nice fishing lake,NE of Butler.

This is the time of year that a lot of Pittsburghers head to Erie PA for steelhead, walleye and perch fishing.
You might even catch a coho.
Try Walnut or Elk Creek at the mouth of Lake Erie or try a headboat for pearch and waleye.
The peninsula is also good.
The locals call it a mupper invashion.
