I went onto amazon.com to buy the Elfen Lied Vol. 1 DVD, when I noticed that there was also a Box Set of it for a higher price. What does the box set have that the DVD package doesn't?

Usually volume 1 of a lot of animes are released with a "box". It is basically a box that contains the first volume and has room for the remaining volumes when you buy them. It is just a decorative thing for your finished set.

With the box set it comes with just volume one with an elfen lied box to keep the other volumes in also when you get them, nothing too special, the kind of box that other box sets have to store the idividual movies in.
