I understand they both are dead now. I've always wondered what happened to their children. Why have they never spoken up and what do they think of this whole Amityville Horror thing? Now that both of their parents are dead, I'm real curious what the kids would have to say about this so called haunting.

They left everything behind and moved.Kathy Lutz died of emphysema on August 17, 2004 and George Lutz died of heart disease on May 8, 2006. The couple were divorced in the late 1980s, but remained on good terms.

They cashed in a big fat check from the movie and the book! Then the people that live there now have never had a problem with anything supernatural. They are still living there!

They left everything and moved into another house. Jodie followed them. George is dead now. It still happened when they moved out though.
