I wear tank tops and I am over 400 lbs. I dont see a problem with it. Of course I dont like them clingy or too short. There is nothting more disturbing than having someones fat hang out of their clothes. If you have to squeeze into clothing...its best not to wear it. Otherwise you are ok. As long as you feel comfortable.

It is fine. However, the straps on your tank top should be proportionate to your body. If you are a little overweight, don't wear spaghetti straps, wear a wider strap. This will make you look thinner. Pair it with some wide leg jeans and pointy heel shoes and you are good to go!

Depends how overweight. If a little sure, but don't wear a white tank and make sure it is more boycut and not very clingy.

Personally, I wouldn't be comfortable in them. But I think that anyone should be able to wear they want to wear without being judged. I mean, this is America right?

as long as it fits sure! who says u have to wear a tent if ur overweight? u have a right to dress cooler in hot weather but be tasteful about it. noone wants to look like a jerry springer guest!!!
