There is a particular company, that I can't get through to. Every email address I send to....get returned. Finally, in the contact us section, there is one click-insert-box that doesn't seem to work.
I'll describe the box as follows:::::
On the left side it asks for what are you interested in:
and in the middle of the page, so to speak, is a little box, half of it is blank and the other part has an arrow pointing downward.
Now , when I click on the arrow, I presume that a drop-down list of products or whatever appears, but no such thing happens.
When I click on the arrow, the box stays as is.
If some wonderful person out there has any answer or thoughts, please respond.

i always try to send emails to "cutomerservice@blahblah.com (who ever the company is) sometimes it works. good luck to you

You'd have to give us the company name. You can always search for it on the internet or is it able to be looked up in the phone book? If all fails, I think you've been duped! Maybe things like this happen to you because you are so trusting of others.

you should have given us a url to the site. it's impossible to help unless we can see it.
sounds to me like they are playing a joke on you.
to disable a dropdown list all they have to do is put some javascript in it like below.

have you tried opening up this site in another browser? if you're using explorer, try firefox or netscape etc.

maybe it was a scam company that no longer exists
