I have used Arnica Oil, most plastic surgeon use it after wards...and Queen Helene 100% coco butter stick...it will never go away in its entire, but it makes it less noticeable...
also, taking about keloid formation...is very noticeable in olive and dark skinned ppl....at times the scar tissue keeps growing, and has to be removed...
don't waste you money on all those 20 dollar creams on the market, a 99 cents coco butter stick, or vitamin E will do it just as good!

The vitamin E answer was a good one, but the most important is massage. use a bit of oil, and each day massage the scar for at least 10 minutes. Do it gently, but firm. It's helps break down the scar tissue, and will reduce it's looks, though only time will get rid of it for good.

Vitamin E cream applied everyday can help reduce the redness of the scar and generally heal it more quickly. This is something you can do yourself.
Otherwise plastic surgery can fix scars.

Don't. Scars give character and if in the right place can be downright sexy. And they can make good stories for the girls ;-P

Sadly, Keloids don't disappear. They are prevalent in people of colour, and people of Northern European descent. I keloid, and I'm Swedish. My scars are nasty.
