You will feel a lot of pain, the instant the bomb explodes you will feel:

1. Fear at the sight and sounds of the explosion.
2. You will feel the heat burning your skin, eyes and hair.
3. You will be hit like a freight train by the blast wave(every been hit in the nose. If so you remember the pain when the blow is struck. Multiply that a thousand times.) That's the same feeling you will have all over when the blast knocks you thru the wall of a building.
4. With any luck that will kill you and you won't have to linger on until you bleed out or choke on your own blood.
5. If by any chance that doesn't kill you then you will die of suffication, thirst or starve to death.

I would say that all of that is very painful, wouldn't you? Also, think about when you were in an accident or someone else told you about it and said that everything moved in slow motion. A nuclear attack (I assume you mean explosion) may seem like a flash, but the last flash of your life may seem like a life time. A life time of "PAIN".

If we all got killed on initial explosion we would be beyond the realm of pain, right ??? The range of instant death is very limited, however, and most of us would linger on, which would be infinately worse that instant death...All food sources would be contaminated, resulting in a slow, painful death if consumed... Besides, beer production would probably be reduced, which would be much worse than instant death.....

It depends on how close you are to the explosion,I would prefer to go quickly rather than die a slow very painful radiation poisoning death

just BOOM...your dead.

unless....you live a distance from the attack. then it might be slow and painful as you may develop cancer and crazy stuff like that.

but otherwise...just BOOM

Depends on your proximity to the blast. If you're at ground zero, you'll die without ever knowing what hit you. If you're further away, you might die fairly quickly of burns or other injuries, and even further away it might be weeks, months or years before cancer or radiation sickness kills you.
