all the chicken soup for the teenage soul books! including the one on letters and the one on tough stuff. i think there is like 3 so far plus those 2. also the tast berries serise of books i have 2. im 21 now but i loved all the books and they helpd me a lot sometimes and sometimes they gave me insperation. you cant go wrong with them. also kimberly kimberger (the main auther of all the books) is a good auther. but the books are made up of stories sent in by teens and some other people ( jinnifer love hewitte, ext) and the also all have quotes from famouse people in them. when ur teen decides to go to college they also have a college soul edition. great for girls and boys!

I also agree with everyone who has recommended "Are you there, God..." I just recently read it again after about 15 years since the first time, and I still loved it; definitely helped me get through puberty back then.

Other books I enjoyed as a tween were a few by Janet Adele Bloss--"How to Snoop in your Sister's Diary"; "My Brother the Creep"; "Fifth Grade Secrets."

And then there was the Little House series by Laura Ingalls Wilder--not as modern but certainly still entertaining.

Any book by Madeleine L'Engle and Judy Blume; their titles are rathoer old, but the stories are universal and easy to identify with...
