I don't think Americans are stupid. I'm just wondering how many think London Bridge is Tower Bridge.

Actually the truth is most of us are to self absorbed to care. It is sad but true. My grandfather was an Earl my Uncle is now they were very posh and some what annoying at times. I would have been pro labour (sp) and drove them crazy. But I digress, I was brought up as England being the homeland. It is a beautiful place with such wonderful history and architecture, yet very unappreciated by most Americans.

I am guessing your from London and they have built a new bridge in the place of where the London bridge is called the Tower Bridge I am guessing? Why a guess because I have NEVER been to London but I have seen the London bridge... SO I would ask you how did I see the London bridge and never leave America???
Because some rich guy bought the old London bridge had it shipped piece by piece to some small little town on the Arizona/Nevada border called Lake Havasu. Where it was reassembled and goes across the Colorado river. So my Non-American friend you know where your LONDON bridge went.
Guess all americans are not as stupid as you want to think.

i'm notably particular that rhyme isn't approximately Tower Bridge, because of the fact, inspite of it is elegance, that's incredibly between the extra moderen bridges over the Thames in London, having been equipped interior the Nineties - - -and that i'm particularly advantageous that this rhyme predates its shape - particularly probable by utilising quite a few centuries. the present London Bridge is amazingly new (mid-Nineteen Seventies - as you're responsive to the previous one became bought to a city interior the u . s ., i think of, Arizona, who appeared to be perplexed approximately Tower Bridge and London Bridge too). despite if, it stands on the positioning of the earliest bridge over the river in London (for this reason its call): so the poem refers to between the older bridges in this website.
