Body language, and watch their eyes, if they look to the left, they are probably lying, hope this helps

If you know the person well enough you can detect changes in not only the way they speak ie changes in their voice, any form of stammer not normally there - the way they move their head or hands and the one of the best ones is in the eyes especially if some one is recalling something they look one way or if they are trying to think something up they look the other way - sorry but i cant remember which way is left or right

when someone is lying to you, the person'll start acting fidgety and would be unable to look you straight in the eye! many people actually look above your head or to the left... to some people, however, its easier knowing when they're telling the TRUTH, 'cos they dont show any telltale signs of lying!

Watch the eyes, if they blink alot or look to the left when they tell you something, they're lying.

everyone lies....its a known fact that 91% of humans lie on a regular basis. watch their eyes, if they blink or look away AS they say it then they are lying.

If they don't look you straight in the eyes, tend to cover their mouth when speaking and speak low.
But on the other hand, some people actually believe their own lies and so it's not easy to tell unless they tend to exaggerate

watch their body movements, and how they react when they are answering to you
like how long it takes them to reply to ur comment or whatever.
Usually if they're lying it should take them a while to respong to you when you're talking to them.
So pay a lot of attention to how they respond and stuff.
