the average length for the vaginal canal is 6" and the average length penis is 5.5". if your canal is of average length or shorter he will be too long.
sex is about enjoyment for both partners. if you do not enjoy him shoving it all in then you need to tell him and he needs to adjust to increase your pleasure.

Have you tried some personal lubricant like ky warming. I can not see being to big. Once we get started we are in a hurry it seems. Try more foreplay and favors. On your own go to the toy store and get you a toy about the same size and see if it is not just the fact that he is wanting to be in to big of a hurry before you are ready. Sometimes a few minutes of favors from him to you will make this better for the both of you.
