Well..... as a mom, and a one time teen.... I would presume your mother knows a whole lot more about what you should and should not be doing at this point in your life.

Just because all your friends are doing something does not mean that they "should" be doing whatever it is.

Try to look at it from your mother's perspective. I know that this is hard for a young person to do, since they have no concept of the responsibility of parenthood, but try.... would you let your own daughter do some of the things you want to do? If it were your daughter, what kind of dangers would you warn her against?

Try talking to your mother in a calm and grown up manner. No accusing, no whining. Let her know that you are trying to see the issue from her point of view. Then really listen to what she says. Try to put yourself in her shoes. Then be totally honest with yourself. Does she have a valid point?

Believe it or not, your youth is very fleeting. It will not be long before you are 18 and old enough to make your own mistakes. Don't try to live your whole life in your short teen years. Save some of the things until you are old enough to really appreciate your freedom, and at such a time that you are responsible for the consequences. Because, until you are 18, it is your mother's duty to protect you.... Even from yourself!!!!

Obviously if you should be able to do it your mother would let you. You are probably a youngster in school and believe me' Mother knows best'. I felt the same way in school. My mom was really overly protective of me, but I am glad she was. Who know where I would be without her strictness. That is why there are so many litte hookers running around. There mothers don't care. Your lucky. You might feel like you can't do anything, but you'll be thankful later.

You need to be more detailed. What would you like to do that you are not allowed to do right now? It also depends on your age.

The best thing to do is trust that your parents know what is best for you. But, please add a few more details to your question for more direct answers.
