u e almost got it. He/she wrote 4x^2, but it should have been 16x^2. (First answer.)

The right answer is

64x^3 - 125 = (4x - 5)(16x^2 + 20x + 25)

You can figure this out. It's the difference of two cubes, so a good guess (even if you forget the formula) is 4x - 5.

You can use polynomial long division to get the rest of it. (In this example, long division is easier than synthetic division.)

If you divide 16x^3 + 0x^2 + 0x - 125 by 4x - 5, you get the answer 16x^2 + 20x + 25 with no remainder.

I'd show you how to do that, but it's hard to line columns up in these posts.
