Firstly, congrats on being asked back for a second interview.
Although you didnt think the first one went too well, obviously you must have made an impression.
Be confident, they asked you back because they believe you are the right/ close to person for the job.
Always ask about the companies history, ask about your role within the company. Be prepared to state a salary that you would accept.
Tell them your ambitions for the next ten years and ask if this is a possibility within their company.
Most important of all i believe is to be confident in your approach to their questions and your accertivness in asking yours.
Good luckx

if the company is a ltd company give them a ring and ask them to send you a copy of their annual report for the previous year. Ask questions about the companies objectives over the next few years, appraisals and who your direct line manager will be. arrive at the interview early and while in reception you can gain some good talking points from the certificates and info which are normally left in the reception area.

It is possible to get basic information about the company from companies house via their website. for £1 you can at least get a view into their current financial situation.
What to ask?
* How long has the company been in operation
* What is the operating model
* I understand [xyz] to be your core business, do I understand this correctly (only ask this if you're sure you've got it half right)
* Why has this position become vacant

i'd definitely try to find out more about the company - whether that means ringing up and posing as a customer or researcher or journalist or something to get some kind of information - all the second interviews I've done, i've really marked them down if they don't appear to have done their homework.

practice answering with a friend. try to remember what were the questions you weren't able to answer. go online and search for the common questions being asked in an interview. if the internet won't provide you the company's profile, then ask someone who knows about it.
again, practice aloud and with confidence.

Listen first, appear confident, attentive, then tell them in a confident way what you can offer, then ask them what they can offer you. Never apologise, or appear sensitive, they want you as much as you want them
