I'm 11 and there is a gurl my age in school. Her name is Savannah. Everyday she waves to me and smiles. She also pokes me on the back and acts like she didn't do it. I know that most kids my age do this but not everyday like she does. She is very popular, I'm not that popular and all the popular kids date other popular kids. I sorta like her but I need to know if this is some sort of hint or clue to let me know she likes me. She said she likes another boy named Ellis and they are going out but, I don't know if it was a coverup for me to not figure out that she likes me. Please help me out. Thank you!

Don't isten to Special. I was eleven just a few months ago. Yeah. many people our age do poke others and say it was him (pointing to the person next to them). I think maybe she does like you. Don't be surprised if a popular girl likes a guy that's not so popular. That's very common and popular kids are just more well known than others. You should try asking her out. If she doesn't like you then it's ok............ right?

My 10 yr. old son is going through this same thing. Her name is Paige. Problem with my son's situation is he's 10!! He still has not really decided that girls are worth bothering with yet. He & his buddies have "better" things to do, like football!! At least that is the story his dad tells me.
I would say that Savannah probably does like you. I think you should just keep doing what you are doing & see what happens. If you see her with Ellis & they look like they are "going out", then just be her friend for now. Say HI! when you see her, talk to her just like normal.
It seems to me that she is NOT afraid to make the first move, so wait it out, let her come to you for now.

Dating????? @ 11 yall need to pump your brakes and slow down. 2 answer your ? touching in a nice gentle way smiling and waving is a sure sign that she is digging u. but slow down become her friend and then maybe at 16 or so yall could date. Be straight up and ask her if she likes you be honest and let her know you would enjoy being her friend. NO DATING AT 11.

Listen Son! Through out history, girls have done this same thing at your age. Yes she likes you, but is to shy to tell you. So they do things to get your attention. Put up with it or play around with her and show her the attention that she wants. It could grow into a relationship. You never know until you try.
