BLOW THEM ALL UP AND LEAVE!

I beleive that the issues in the Middle East are far too complicated to have any answer at all, much less a rational one. There are so many things going on past the surface. Someone might say that they should just put their differences behind them and move on, but I believe that it goes much deeper than that. And with things that complicated, I don't think any "answer" can ever be found, because answers are simple and definite and this isn't.

Which problem? Thinking about the ME in such simplistic terms is one of the many problems facing us, and complex problems are not served by simple thinking.
So, yes, there are logical and rational answers to the problems in the Middle East.

(It was TOO a prob. before other countries got involved.) Yes, there is ALWAYS a logical and rational answer, the problem is, almost everyone in the Middle East is either brainwashed, or power crazy. Therefor, they will not listen to reason, as it has always been in the Middle East. Logic and reason are not highly used in those countries, pity.

Yes there is, but I doubt that either side would agree to accept a logical and rational solution. To accept a solution based on logic and rationality would require both sides to begin to value logic and rationality above competing motivations. I doubt that it will happen. I hope very much that I am wrong

No because the "Middle East problem" isn't logical or rational.

All of these answers are right. Except, we did not create that particular problem, we were not around 2000 years ago when it first began. And, the way we are going, we won't be around to see it resolved, if that ever does occur. Funny how a little 'live and let live' philosophy over there could change the world, our lives, our children's lives and, unfortuantely and ultimately, the lives of every creature on the planet.

Long term education and social / economic improvements.
But even if that ever got started, it would take generations to reverse the damage that has been done till now.

Work for Peace, be an example to others.

Of course, there is.

Palestinians and Israel just have to be willing to compromise and negotiate. Speaking for Israel, I know we are ready and we have already proved our readiness by leaving Gaza.

The Palestinians have to accept Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state, which they have not been able to do yet. They still seek the destruction of Israel. The proof is that Israel left Gaza and instead of building that land and using it for a good purpose for their people, they use it as a launching pad to send bombs to Israel.

Not as long as its people remain illogical and irrational...their mind-set and 'hearts' must change for the problem to dissipate...
