Aquarius!!!!!!!!!!

The Water Carrier
January 21 to February 19
Traditional
Aquarian Traits

Friendly and humanitarian
Honest and loyal
Original and inventive
Independent and intellectual

On the dark side....

Intractable and contrary
Perverse and unpredictable
Unemotional and detached

The astrological symbol of the Aquarius is the Water Bearer. But don’t be mistaken – the Aquarius’ element, formally called a sign’s triplicity, is air, not water. The air signs of the zodiac are intellectual communicators who let their mind, rather than their emotions, dictate their actions. If you look at this sign’s symbol you’ll see the Water Bearer physically pouring water. This act is representative of the Aquarius dispersing the gift of truth to the world, which is exactly the humanitarian goal of the Aquarius. Find out more about what influences this creative sign’s beliefs and ideas…

Aquarius in a Nutshell

Born: January 20 – February 18
Element: Air – communicative and logical
Quality: Fixed, the quality that signifies a resistance to change
Symbol: The Water Bearer
Lucky Day: Wednesday
Lucky Numbers: 1 and 7
Special Color: Electric blue, the color of the sky
Aquarius Traits: original, progressive, detached, unpredictable, intellectual, unemotional
When people call you eccentric, Aquarius, you don’t balk at their observation. You’re actually rather pleased that they have noticed your originality. Aquarius is never one to follow the crowd; you get the crowd to follow you. And it’s not necessarily because you have great leadership skills. It’s more because you have a knack for rallying people to help your cause. You are an innovator, the zodiac sign of the future. As a humanitarian, you want to make the world a better place and you have strong, unwavering opinions on how you’re going to accomplish this. You are progressive but still fixed in your opinion (blame it on your Fixed quality). You get irritated very easily and get defensive when anyone disagrees with you or questions your ideas. Everything needs to be on your terms and everyone needs to adapt to you, not vice versa.

Intelligent, inquisitive and optimistic, you are constantly asking the questions that nobody else may think of or dare to ask. You want to know how things work, and you are an avid studier of human nature. You are also one of the nicest persons someone can meet. Easygoing, natural and genuinely kind, you attract friends effortlessly. So why is it that some people think you can still be so detached or uncaring?
There is a definite paradoxical nature to your personality, Aquarius. On the one hand, you’re extremely friendly and inviting, and on the other hand, you have a tendency to seem distant. On the one hand you seem so self-assured and outgoing, but on the other hand you are shy and don’t want others to get too emotionally close to you. A lot of your nuances have to do with your need for independence. You can’t totally engage anyone else because you don’t want them to try to mold you into something you’re not – your independence would be compromised.

Relationships
Those born under the Aquarius sign usually have a larger group of more impersonal friends than a smaller group of closer ones. That doesn’t mean that the quality of your friendships diminish, because you deeply value your relationships. You aren’t one to judge other people. In fact, you’re able to deal with all sorts of personalities, and probably because you want everyone to put up with all of your quirks. In both friendships and relationships, you have a deep sense of loyalty and usually have enduring friendships.

As an air sign, your best romantic matches are also air signs – Gemini and Libra. In love, your personality will not stand for a weak mental attraction or a partner who will stifle your independence. For you, romance means solid communication rather than passion, because while you are emotional, you rely on your rational side more since you tend to not trust the value of emotion. It may be difficult for you to put as much time and energy into your relationship as you do your interests in life, like your friends, hobbies and projects. But just as you give back to humanity freely, you will also give to your partner freely once you are in love.
Health
Every zodiac sign has a part of the body which they govern. Aquarius rules the circulatory system and the shins, calves and ankles. Native health problems to the Aquarius include cuts, strains, fractures and bruising to the lower legs as well as swelling, varicose veins and cramps. You also may experience circulatory problems like atherosclerosis, anemia and low blood pressure. The Aquarius is generally in good health and your claim to fame is typically your well-shaped shaped legs. Although you exercise your mind mostly, you do enjoy staying active, especially on sports teams where a great team camaraderie develops.

Career
There are a variety of career options suitable for an Aquarius. While you have an affinity toward sciences, you are also inclined toward arts and humanities. You want a job that allows you to explore questions. But while you’re exceptional at coming up with inventive ideas, you don’t necessarily want to be the one to sort out the details and make it happen. You are capable of becoming a good leader as long as you don’t become too dogmatic and inflexible with your employees. Occupations that an Aquarius should consider include a social worker, inventor, historian, photographer, mechanic, politician, engineer, psychologist, radio personality, broadcaster, and teacher.

Those born under the Aquarius sign are the people to look to for the future and the progress of mankind. But can people always look to you to allow collaboration of your ideas and plans? Don’t let your tendency of having unwavering opinions get in the way of making your dreams come true.

The cusp of Aquarius/Pisces is February 19 to February 23

You are Aquarius January 20 - February 18
Aquarius is the eleventh Sign of the Zodiac, and Aquarians are the perfect representatives for the Age of Aquarius. Those born under this Sign have the social conscience needed to carry us into the new millennium. These folks are humanitarian, philanthropic and keenly interested in making the world a better place. Along those lines, they'd like to make the world work better, which is why they focus much of their energy on our social institutions and how they work (or don't work). Aquarians are visionaries, progressive souls who love to spend time thinking about how things can be better. They are also quick to engage others in this process, which is why they have so many friends and acquaintances. Making the world a better place is a collaborative effort for Aquarians. The Sign of Aquarius is symbolized by the Water Bearer. In much the same way that the Water Bearer brings that precious liquid as a gift, Aquarians shower the world with their thoughts and new ideas. Luckily for Aquarians (and the rest of us), they are at a near-genius level, so their minds churn out some amazing things. Their thought process is also inventive and original. While Aquarians are happy to bestow these ideas as a gift with no strings attached, they are much happier when the rest of the world agrees with them. Naysayers will quickly find out that Aquarians can be impatient, even temperamental, with those who disagree. Yes, these folks can be quite fixed in their opinions, in keeping with the Fixed Quality assigned to this Sign. Even though Aquarians are happy to give, and they do, it's often on their terms and within their comfort level. Generally, that means ample space, since these folks are freedom-loving and individualistic and need to roam (and yes, they do enjoy travel). While Aquarians are generally sympathetic and compassionate, they like it when things go their own quirky way. Some might call their behavior eccentric (and they would be right), but when you consider that the Aquarian's heart is truly in the right place, a few oddities should be overlooked. In their own way, Aquarians treasure their many friends and acquaintances and want to give back as much as they can.

Love & Blessings
