I'm doing a project, and need some facts, so please do a poor girl a favor and tell me a few interesting things. And please don't be mean, if your in the mood for being mean, then just don't answer. Or, answer someone else's question. Thank You
(I picked (Other India) because i am not talking about a specific place, just India in general. )

Its a vast Country which some believe should be a continent in its own right. Ithas a population of over 1 billion, it has the Worlds largest middle class.
Go there and you will experience abject poverty alongside absolute wealth.
Go there and spend less than 10 pence (UK) on a coke, or 30pence on a meal.
Buy a new Honda motorbike for about £450
Buy a new car or about £4000
Take a 24 hour train journet for under £4
You will meet some of the nicest people in the world in India, especially on the trains. You could spend a year travelling there and still only see a small part of the Country.
Tata group own PG teabags which they bought last year. I think India will be one of the next superpowers and probably overtake China in terms of GDP.

Well India is actually called Hindusthan meaning the land of the hindus. but the name has changed as the people of the vast nation belong to many other religions like Christanity, Islamism, Sikkhism, Jainism etc. India is the biggest nation in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation(SAARC which includes Nepal, Pakistan, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Maldives, Sri lanka, India and now Afganistan). The indian population comes second largest in the world and just after People's republic of China. India is culturally rich and one of the most progressive Asian nation. but the literacy rate is not above 60(dont know the exact data) due to poverty and other geo-political differences. India shares borders with Pakistan,Nepal, China, Bhutan and Bangladesh.......this and more about the nature and animals
