If a draw was taking place in Spain it would be governed by Spanish law, and likewise a draw taking place in England or Wales is governed by English law. The jurisdiction is dictated by the location of the draw rather than the location of the participants, so don't worry about it.

One of the strange anomalies of this country is that the Scottish have their own legal system that is in many ways different from that in England and Wales. You are equally likely to find a draw that is governed by the relevant law in Scotland; the only difference is that we English don't have a massive chip on our shoulders and whinge about it!

It does not matter if the organisers say that the draw is governed by English law and you take part then you have accepted a contract and that is one of the conditions which you agree too even if you are outer Mongolian

your point is. you are also british. there are laws that are that are mainly scotish, written by voted on by scotish mps that i do not agree with. I got over it.
