She was a guide for Lewis & Clark. She was actually a pregnant teenager when she started the trip. She gave birth during the expedition. She was married to a French fur trader. Her baby grew up and eventually went to college financed by Lewis. No one is sure where she ended up or when she died. She definately helped the expedition as a translator, medical assistant, and herbalist. Incredible young woman that deserved her place in history.
