Well, lots of people get store bought devices for similar purpose. I guess the real question is if the pillow is a temporary substitute, or if you are avoiding real people & choosing a pillow instead. Or are you developing a fetish where pillows are necessary. The key question for yourself is if you are choosing the pillow instead of a a real live person, or if you are needing the pillow to be present as some type of prop. If so, probably best to see a therapist before this behavior gets too ingrained. If not, the behavior will probably extinguish when you have a real live person.
