I believe in the women's right to choose but for me personally-I could never do it. I have four children and the thought that they might never have been born breaks my heart but I also look around and see all these parents that never should have been parents and it makes me think that, in those cases, abortion might have been the merciful thing to do for the child.

People that justify abortion as being murder are ignorant, selfless and fail to understand the decision a women has to make to either abort, keep or adopt her unborn baby. Murder is a malicious intent to kill and hurt something, would a mother ever want this??? NOOOO...
People that choose to abort are making this decision based on the past, present and future. If you never intented on having a child, then that sperm and egg were never suppose to meet anyways.
Abortion has been performed for thousands of years, based on the fact that the tribe/society would not be able to support another child being born. Population control is a very important part of maintaining a healthy society.
Human beings were never meant to be governed by law, why should there be a law that illegalizes abortion? The science of human life boils down Darwin's Theory :survival of the fittest. Sex, only insures survival of our species. but I think we all know that our species is going to survive abortion or not.
So why do people care soooooo much about what other peoples choices are?? Having an abortion should be the least concern of anyone, please care about your own family and needs and not anyone elses.
1 in 3 women by the age of 45 will have had an abortion. Its way more common than you think and will continue to be. We will only lose mother and unborn fetus if this issue becomes illegal. Why lose a life that is already living?
People that keep saying women who have abortions are sluts or whores are SOOOOOOOO WRONG!!! Every kind of woman can have, and probably has had an abortion. Doctors, Lawyers, MARRIED WOMEN!!! And to call these women sluts and whores is extremely rude, and your words "shouldn't" change a omans mind or make her feel "bad" because of what she did!

I think partial birth abortions which are done in the 3rd trimester should be only used in medical emergencies, as at that point the baby is fairly fully developed, it seems inhumane to take a baby that might even surive if born at that time and kill it. But for someone just missing their period and finding out in the first month or two, I think its a totally different situation, the fetus is undeveloped and unaware, its more a collection of cells than it is a person, thats my opinion anyway.
I think its better to have legal abortions, as people will turn to back-alley places if they don't have the safe option, and those abortions are dangerous, sometimes the girl even dies.
Its worth noting that not every baby is equally adoptable (crack babies, babies with handicaps or deformities, sadly even non-white babies in perfect health are less likely to be adopted), and not every person can handle the cost, the time, and the emotional needs of a baby, it seems equally cruel to have a baby and then not take care of it properly.
Ultimately I think it should be a choice the potential mother and father should make, and their parents if they are underage.

I am ProAbortion. I believe that there are many reasons that a woman will not be able to care for a child. Some are economic, some based on her mental health. This doesn't mean she should practice indiscriminate sex. Of course she should take precautions, but as all women know, not all forms of protection are 100% effective and there are times when she is not in her full capacity to say "no". In fact, there are so many variables that no one can predict why a woman got herself pregnant. But she should always have the final say about her body. I don't think men should have a say in this issue until they have to carry a child within their body for 9 months. Until they have to go through morning sickness for the first trimester, have their body distorted by an enlarging child, have all their hormones go whacky, risk other medical problems and finally go through the birthing process, no one should have a vote on what a woman decides is the best decision for her self and her unborn child.

i'd desire to in basic terms think of of a few. i will merely write a topic count number and you could come to a determination your opinion to argue =D a million. government information superhighway filters. 2. game in school would desire to it relatively is needed? 3. Bratz Dolls etc are a foul impression on youthful women. 4. 'it relatively is what's on the interior that counts' yet this would possibly not be actual. it relatively is all i will think of of! :)

I believe it is a woman's choice. I'm sure I'll get beaten up on here for expressing my opinion but that's what it is. Some people can't responsibly take care of children and then there are rape cases. I am aware of the arguments against these statements.

Abortion is murder. There are absolutely no compelling reasons to murder a child! If a woman is raped, it is not the child's fault. Adoption is always an option. Look how many couples want children and can't have them! Why does society permit the murder of innocents, just because they are inconvenient? If you have sex, you are accepting responsibility for any children you conceive! How can people murder their children? It just doesn't make sense. How can people be that cruel?

My thoughts on abortion are :stop killing the future generation. It is not necessary to abort, have the baby and think of adoption.

I can't believe your teacher is letting you write about a topic that is so debative. Mine (in college) wouldn't let us write about abortion nor religion. But, since you asked, I don't agree with it. I believe that it's murder, and that there are other options (such as adoption) besides aborting the baby.
