I've taken over men's bathrooms BY MYSELF, in several different places, from fast-food restaurants, doctor's offices, department stores, to the bus terminal. I just needed to use the bathroom STAT, and the ladies' facilities were either broken down, being cleaned, locked from the inside and nobody had a key to open it, and several other myriad reasons. As they say, when you gotta go, you gotta go! In the absence of sanitary facilities, I've hunted down secluded spots [like the fitting rooms at stores] and done my thing. I don't care if they've called me gross, disrespectful, or whatever; better being called names than peeing in my pants in public!

Yes; at a Christian conference I attended, a few years ago, there were long queues outside all the women's rooms in breaks, and no queues at all outside the men's, so a few of us stood at the door of one of the men's rooms, asking guys to go elsewhere, and encouraging women to use that one. The guys took it very well, indeed, and we got thanks from a lot of bursting women.

I am not sure if anyone tried the urinals; I was mostly guarding the door.

yes, I was at a Robbie Williams' concert in Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh and there were about 5 guys' toilets for every womens'. so me and my friend just took over one on the gents'. No, we didn't try to use the urinals but recommend you watch "The Full Monty".

i saw a woman back up to a urinal before in a club that had about 50 women to every 3 guys - she was wearing a flannel shirt too

Many years ago at Dodger Stadium, the women started using the men's restroom, not only as a protest for the lack of women's restrooms, but BECAUSE of the lack of them! They added more for the women some time after that!
