Location, location. In African rivers and swamps, a shark would really be a fish out of water and a tasty snack to any crocodile. But in the ocean, miles away from land, even a sea alligator or a mass of alligators would suffer shark bites. I do keep wondering who'd come out on top in a fight between a croc and a stingray though.

Sharks...they did a show on discovery channel where they took measurements like (speed, bite strength, muscle mass etc) and did a simulation battle on the computer based on those measurements...a great white v. American alligator, the shark took it.
