63 would still be 10 short of Bonds record of 73!

I think he has a shot and I love your question of how it should be celebrated. I should be bigger than when McGuire did it and much bigger than when Bonds broke McGuires mark. Let's face it, 61 home runs has never been broken legitimately and so when it does happen we should make a huge deal about it. Howard Seems to be a great guy as well and if someone does break that mark, I hope it's someone like him.

63....that would be 7 more HR's in 18 days...(I thnk they have 16 games to go)..
I am gonna say he won't do it...the Phils are in the playoff run and they have a schedule against a bunch of teams that are fighting to stay alive as well...they will probably pitch around him in situations...
I do think that he will get to 60 though..

How do we really know if Howard is clean? He seems to be, but remember there is no test for HGH, and that has the same effects as steroids.

He should know that he is the only steroid free man to pass 61, the real title holder should be Maris.

he will do it, 7 home runs in 18 games is managable. They said bonds wouldnt hit 70+ and look wat happened. And he had a tough schedule and they were in the playoff hunt as well, so it doesnt make sence wat u ppl are saying. He will his 63+. that u can bank on.
