1) A politician says he is personally against elective abortions, but thinks it is a choice the woman must make. We ask him if the life growing in that womb is a human baby, and if he answers yes, we can ask him what is he doing obliterating that life? If the answer is no, then why is he personally against it? If the answer is "I don't know", then how many more decisions is he going to make out of an agnostic platform?

2) On people's notion of "tolerance". When people are promised a regime of tolerance as the inevitable result of a democratic civilization that celebrates diversity one moment, and then resort to the pejoratives of homophobe, narrow-minded, fundamentalist, etc as labels that may be ascribed to one's fellow citizens for no other reason than that they happen to believe that it is true that marriage is an institution with a particular unchanging nature, a sexual community that includes one man and one woman. In a society where "tolerance" is supposed to be the supreme virtue, people are most intolerant on this one.

(sorry if this is a bit perspectival, but these are some of the clearest examples that I can think of right now.)

When you ask men what's the first thing they look at on a women and they say the eyes.

When you hear Democrats talking about "helping" black people and then work overtime to keep them on government programs rather than teach them to do for themselves.
