How did she do it/ what is inside it?

My Bio teacher poured 300ML of clear water in to a funnel and out came 1Litter of blue water. The only things vissable (outside the enclosed box) was a clear tube, funnel, 2 litter bottle. it was a small funnel a regular 2 litter bottle . the tube was coming out from the inside of the box . Do u know what was in the box? if so please explain or include drawing of what u think is inside the box.

it was 300 mL CLEAR WATER BUT WHEN THE L came out in to the 2 liter bottle it was blue

Not really. Sounds like the volume increased from 300 ml to 1 Liter so something in the box had to contain 700 ml of liquid that got added to the sample she poured into the funnel. Let's assume (although it might not be true) that the 700 ml inside was not blue but clear. Then, one of the solutions could have contained a pH indicator that would turn blue when the solution was more basic or more acidic. The other solution might have contained the base or acid that would change its color. Or, there's methylene blue which becomes blue when oxygenated. Maybe the 300 ml was de-gassed and clear, but by just pouring it, she got oxygen into it so it turned blue.
