oh god yes it' worth it and it lasts at least 2 months. the beauty of it when you wax you are damaging the follicle (the hole the hair grows out of) so less hair grows back each time, so eventually you will be able to go longer intervals without getting the wax done eventually you won't need them at all because you would have damaged all the follicles and no hair will grow but that can take years. Oh and you don't have to worry about your skin getting irritated or razor bumps and stuff like that.

It's definitely worth it. It lasts up to 2 WEEKS :O.. Isnt that great. But get it done and make sure the ppl are good and not crappy. Think about it not shaving for 2 wks besides your legs and underams. The only prob is you have to wait till it grows out enough to wax

I think its great, myself, though it takes some patience (and some nerves) to get good at doing it yourself. Of course, I'm the sort of person who would rather inflict pain upon myself than let some strange person at a salon be looking at and touching me down there.
It does hurt more than waxing your legs does, but you get used to it after a while. If you've never waxed before (or even if you've just waxed your eyebrows), why dont you try waxing your legs first. If legs hurt too much, you know the bikini region will. Remember to hold the skin tight!

I would use Immac, it doest have that awful smell it used to have now. Failing that I would put a womens sensitive shave cream on and then shave it, it should be alright then. Make sure the blades are sharp though

OUCH......waxing must really hurt!! and shaving will give you ingrowns and itchyness. My method is to use a hair trimming machine ( the beard/mustache trimmers are perfect!).
