first, always go back to the rules. in this case, or any case do paranthesis and brackets first. so, here do parenthesis first and then finish whats in the brackets.

here is the rule parenthesis first, then multiplication and division, then addition and subtraction.

now, when dividing adding ect go left to right.

so we will do 12+4 first then divide this by 2 to obtain 8.

next, 25x4=100.

now we have obtained 100-[8]+5

so, left to right 100-8=92+5=97.

so, 97!!
