There are two answers to this bad joke:

The difference between the duck is the distance between it's legs.

Since one of it's legs is both the same, the distance is equal to the difference

A duck also denotes a batsman getting out for a score of zero and usually used in the saying "Out for a duck". This is becasue it ends up being a zero on the scoreboard and that character looks like a duck egg. Americans actually reffer to this as a goose egg in their sports although they rarely play crickett.
