Xmas stuff in the shops already depresses me as it is to early i think that nothing should be in the shops eg. cards paper trees etc. till the 1st december.

Depress most definitely ..... Christmas costs me a bloody fortune every year , and gets more and more expensive.I have 5 children ( well, 2 of them are over 16 years old now) , but still it costs more money than I have/get .

It's a real shame that kids feel pressure from other kids based on how much money their parents have and what presents they get , rather than realising that Christmas isn't just about recieving , but also giving.

I'm not religious in anyway at all , but the whole spirit of Christmas has been ruined by competitiveness and brand names.

No yet i visit be quickly. Like maximum persons, i gets a commission month-to-month so the top of September salary is many times a solid commencing element. Decorations interior the dept shops and xmas music so early - ridiculous.

I like your questions. My answer to this one is neither. I have a fantasy (every year!) about spending a non-commercial, simple, but festive, Christmas. Away from the shops and piped Christmas Carols. Maybe in some inaccessible part of the countryside with someone of mutual feeling. So, all that stuff in the shops is irrelevant. Who knows? maybe, this Christmas . . .

I love Christmas, the smells, the decorations the music, therefore it excites me. But on the other hand it depresses me, and is not the same, I do not have my husband to spend it with anymore. He passes away last year, so Christmas will never be the same. However I do have My 4 granddaughters, to help me out there.

Come on you guys - you sound off like it's just happened...this has been going on since the turn of the century/millennium - just when the bairns go back to school after their summer holidays! Of course it'll depress parents but will have kids pester with the usual joy!

A bit of both really, not a big lover of Christmas myself, far too commercialised these days, but I still love the look on little kiddies faces when they see a Christmas tree lit up or Santa in his grotto, a beautiful sight.

I get all excited about Christmas, but a little bit nervous at the thought of buying all those presents for the kids
