Arabsat is a satellite channel offering arabic channels from the middle east. I am moving back to SA shortly which is why i can research it just yet.

point your c-band dish at 26 degrees east and then feed in this frequencies: http://www.lyngsat.com/badrc.html. this satellite is called ARABSAT 2C or BADR-C and its footprints map is : http://www.arabsat.com/default/fleet/inorbit/26degeast/2C.aspx.
the analoque channels are coloured white while the digital channels are coloured yellow. contact me and i will teach you how you can recieve both the analoque and digital channels using one dish,two recivers( one analoque and one digital) and a multiswitch.

Get a big enough dish and aim it at one of the several satellites which relay Arabsat programs

What is arab sat? Is it some type of arabian satellite dish or what? Give us more details I am in SA and maybe I can enquire what you are looking for or wanting.

Are there any programmes broadcasted in Hindi, Tamil, or Telegue on Arabsat free to view in south africa.
