Boys are not imature, we basically have the tendency to play around plenty longer till now the mature actuality hits. females are unlucky in that nature surprises you all with a minimum of 40 years of month-to-month notices. It's not men, it's people. Plenty of women take advantage of men. I would say it's very even the number of people who take advantage of the opposite sex. It's just done in very different ways and is more acceptable for women to take advantage of men...i.e. women who date/marry for money, wear sexy clothes for attention, tips, a job, a promotion. Taking advantage of people is what people do, but if you're talking about date rape and thinkgs like that, well then, becasue some men are creeps and don't have the social sense/courtesy to actually persue a real woman.

Because a lot of guys are so unconfident that they assert themselves over whatever they think they can dominate, including girls AND me. I'm straight, but sensitive, and something of a clothes horse, so of course at school people like to spread it around that I'm gay. Apparently, being gay is "stupid."

But I digress, I don't take advantage of girls. It's sickening to see happen, and it happens all too much. But then again, I've been taken advantage of by girls several times myself.

People are opportunists. When a desireable opportunity presents itself, savvy people sieze on it. Men who want sex (that's all men) see women as an opportunity to get sex.

Men are sexually driven. Unless tempered by religion or some moral framework that demands otherwise, men tend to follow the shortest or easiest path to sex. Immature people tend to lack such a framework. As such, their shortest path to sex often involves being dishonest.

But why do men feel they have to be dishonest to get sex? Because women, particularly younger women, often reserve sex for "committed relationships", which demand that each partner be exclusive with each other and that there is potential for love to develop. Men aren't always necessarily inclined to get into such relationships. However, constantly they are plagued with a strong sexual hunger that craves to be satisfied. So, as an hungry homeless person might steal an apple to eat, a horny guy may "steal" sex by being dishonest about his intentions. It's not a malicious will to deceive that causes it, it's the overwhelming drive for sex and some women's reluctance to "put out" which persuades him to do whatever it takes to get laid.

So the counter-question to your question is, why are young women so guarded with their sexuality? Older women who are more comfortable with sex are generally more amicable toward casual sex and as a result, guys don't feel a need to deceive them. Mature women don't demand relationships in exchange for sex, and so everyone can be honest with each other about their intentions or lack thereof. These women appreciate sex for its own benefits and don't delude themselves with the notion that sex is an indication of romantic love. After all, it is religion and normative trends which have made sex such an emotional subject in our society. In nature animals screw each other and move on without further obligation. That's what men's hormones tell them to do, and that's what they will tend to do unless otherwise conditioned or unless given adequate incentive to do otherwise.

While some guys associate a certain machismo with getting laid, or in raking up high numbers, at its core it's really a hormonally driven sexual appetite that drives men's sexual behavior. The machismo or "stud" connotations are secondary.
