All over the Internet, there are various spurious websites that want to sell you their so called great " anti-virus" and other such crap, like ( Registry Cleaner, Speedbooster , FreeMem etc.).

Now this thing called Virus burst is something similar to that. Windows by itself will not send you to any such site to buy an Anti-virus program.

What you have to do is research this error.

When you see the error write down all its details, then search your computer for a file that actually sends you to this website. I think you can search for virus burst ( the name maybe different). If and once you find it, delete all the names and instances of this ' virus burst ' from your computer.

This ' virus burst ' is not a spy ware, it is not meant to spy on you. It is more like an advertisement created to send you to a specific website to buy something that they sell. It can probably be considered a a Mal-ware content.

If possible go to the Internet and download ' Ad Aware'. It may help you delete this program. Another Program called SWAT-IT will also help you. That name SWAT-IT is self explanatory.

More than likely it's just B.S. adware installed by a drive-by website from that company trying to get you to buy tehir crappy software. Delete all your cookies, temporary internet files, and temp files. Download Adaware6. It's a freebie and works really well. Also, try Reg Vac. It's a freebie too (for 30 days) and removes all broken chains from your registry. You'll be amazed!!

This is a infection that you have that that neither McAfee or Webroot is not picking up. I would highly reccommend downloading one of the following Virus/Spyware scanners below to try and fix that problem.

Ewido or Spybot

You might want to download HijackThis and use that to scan

Make sure you are scanning while running in safe mode:

Restart your computer and tap the F8 key while the BIOS is starting up. Then at the menu select Safe Mode.

Make sure your definitions are up-to-date as well.

NoAdware and Avast are my 2 main programs, you might want to look into them, they are very helpful!

Good luck

Send me an email if you get to flustered ComputerRemedy@hushmail.com

You might need to reimage your PC (reinstall the OS and software from scratch). Don't forget to back up your files first!
